Okay, this one sounds in imitation of a scam. Even the broadcast screams 2012 clickbait. But trust meReelSnatch improvement is lowkey amazing.
I found it in some obscure Reddit thread (buried in the same way as 7 observations deep under an ad for crypto). Its not on the App Store, but their site walks you through a workaround. Sketchy? A little. But it works.
Pros:

No watermarks.

Saves in HD. Legit 1080p+.

Audio stays in sync (youd be amazed how scarce that is).

Cons:

Annoying setup.

Sometimes fails silently, later than it acts once it saved but nada.

Interface looks past Windows XP met a MySpace theme.

Still... its my go-to. I even have a shortcut widget.

Why doesnt instagram story viewer private just allow us accomplish this? I mean, TikTok lets you save later audio (sorta), but IG acts bearing in mind Reels are nuclear instigation codes. Wild.
